Snow Lights in the City (번역 보기)

On a snowy night, the city does not go dark — it glows. / Tall buildings close in on both sides as dark silhouettes, while far down the street, traffic lights and windows blur into warm circles of red, gold and white. Small figures cross through the glow, reduced to shadows, as snow falls over everything — street, rooftops and people alike — softening every edge. / Painted in watercolor with loose, wet washes and splattered snow, this work captures the brief beauty of a winter night in the city: cold on the skin, warm in the distance, and quiet in between.

Watercolor on Paper, 27 x 15 in. Imported from the artist's own Saatchi Art listing.
