Winter Landscape (번역 보기)

Winter lies quietly over a mountain lake. / Snow-covered peaks and a dark forest line the far shore, their reflections dissolving into the still, icy water. Bare branches reach in from the upper right, fine grasses stand in the snow at the lower edge, and a few touches of ochre in the distant trees are the only warmth in the scene. / Painted in watercolor with broad, calm washes and delicate splattered snow, this work captures the deep silence of a winter landscape — cold, spacious, and beautifully restrained.

Watercolor on Paper, 26 x 15 in. Imported from the artist's own Saatchi Art listing.
