Forest Falls and Wildflowers (번역 보기)

Sunlight pours into a small forest, and somewhere in its heart, water is falling. / A little stream descends in soft white steps over dark rocks, past a fallen white branch, toward the viewer. Around it the woods glow in layers of green and gold, thin trunks rising into a bright, hazy canopy. At the lower right, a small cluster of white wildflowers blooms at the water's edge — the quiet reward for finding this place. / Painted in watercolor with loose washes, splatter and lively broken texture, this work captures the freshness of a forest stream in full light: cool water, warm sun, and air you can almost breathe.

Watercolor on Paper, 15 x 26 in. Imported from the artist's own Saatchi Art listing.
